Slotted 41 mm racing cylinder made of aluminum for Swiss Sachs 50/2 (502) engines, which were installed on the following moped / moped models, among others: Alpa, Caravelle, Comet, DKW, Eiger, Göricke, Hercules, Prior, Pony Junior, Rico, Rixe, Walco etc.

Version 2.0:
The tuned aluminum cylinder has been extensively tested and further developed over the last few years and is now available with even more torque.

With larger displacement, optimized timing, larger intake and exhaust as well as enlarged overflow channels, your oldie becomes a high-flyer.

The tuned aluminum racing kit was developed and tested for years in Switzerland and is now finally available in version 2.0.
The new version delivers even more torque than the predecessor, without compromising in the mid and upper rev range.

The cylinder head, which can only be used for tuning cylinders in this series, is equipped with a raceway centering system. This ensures that the combustion chamber is perfectly aligned and the piston is not at TDC.

These attributes characterize the cylinder kit:mer

  • Pore-free and absolutely flat surface
  • Nikasil coating for smooth running, optimum heat dissipation and a long service life
  • Original exhaust connection with M35 x 2 mm

    • Scope of delivery:

    • Cylinder Ø 41 mm
    • Piston kit incl. Piston rings, pins (12 mm) and pin locks
    • Cylinder head
    • Gasket set
    • Inlet and cylinder head stud bolts incl. Special nuts

    We recommend taking the following precautions:

    • The cylinder should be run in with semi-synthetic mixture oil in a ratio of 1:33 (3%) during the first fill-up at a maximum of 5000 rpm.
    • The cylinder head stud bolts should be glued into the cylinder with a threadlocker.
    • For optimum centering and easier installation of the cylinder base, we recommend using the M5/M6 special stud bolt set.
    • For maximum performance, a 17 mm SSB carburettor can be installed. The intake window of the cylinder should be adapted to the carburettor.
