Optimized and lightened full cheek racing crankshaft suitable for manual Puch X30 NS and NL, Velux, MV50, MKII, Maxi HP2 and Custoim mopeds / mopeds with Z50 engines.
This special crankshaft has 1 mm more stroke and gives your engine more torque and compression to tease the last power reserves out of the cylinder.
The precisely fitting 913 gram full cheek crankshaft has proven itself in our latest test series and delivered uncompromising power.

In addition to the balancing holes in the cheeks, the lower connecting rod bolt is also sealed with an aluminum insert for maximum pre-compression. The solid connecting rod with the stable 16 mm connecting rod bolt was also sealed with an aluminum insert. In addition, the polished connecting rod ensures optimum flow behavior of the air-fuel mixture and the additional lubrication slots guarantee clean running even at high engine speeds. The lightened cheeks on the inside ensure even better balancing and therefore smoother running.

The following points should be noted when using this crankshaft:

  • The use of a 1.0 mm thick stroke plate is essential to compensate for the additional stroke. You will find suitable plates in the accessories section. We also recommend using sealant between the seal and the housing/cylinder. You will also find a suitable sealant among the accessories.
  • When installing, observe the crushing edge dimension (distance piston – cylinder head at TDC). This should not be less than 1 mm.
  • Due to the longer stroke, the pressure in the crankcase increases. For this reason, the oil seal on the crankshaft end should either be glued in with 2-component adhesive or secured with a retaining plate.
  • Running in the crankshaft: Run the engine for 30 minutes under low load with a slightly richer mixture.
  • When using 45 mm cylinder kits, depending on the model (with boost ports), the pre-compressed mixture may enter the intake port on UT through the holes in the piston.
  • Use with Z50 engines on the Puch X30 NS/NL (Fahrtwindgekühlt): Keyway at 12 o'clock
  • Use with Z50 engines on the Puch Velux (fan-cooled): Keyway at 14 o'clock
  • The housing must be slightly removed in the area of the cylinder neck to prevent the connecting rod from protruding.

Note: The fit for the clutch hub is very precise. You may need to apply a little pressure to insert the hub. The clutch hub with item number 32380 is not compatible with this crankshaft.
