Does your Piaggio moped not really get going after the traffic lights turn green? Do you have problems starting or is the throttle not responding properly? Then you should take a close look at the clutch of your Piaggio motorbike and inspect it. In many cases, worn clutch parts or an incorrectly adjusted clutch are the cause of such problems. If you have started troubleshooting and need new linings, belt pulleys, clutch springs or a new torque converter, then you've come to the right place. In our range, you'll find everything from the right spacer disc to a new clutch bell to get the clutch of your Piaggio moped back on track. You will discover rare Piaggio NOS parts, reproduction parts and tuning parts from CIF, Malossi, Surflex, Polini, Olympia, Pinasco, Simonini, NewFren and other renowned manufacturers in our range. Order all spare parts for the clutch of your Piaggio moped at fair prices and benefit from short delivery times.
Which moped enthusiasts don't like tinkering with their Ciao, Boxer, Bravo or Si moped? Repairs to the clutch or changing the brake pads are not complicated. On Piaggio mopeds, the centrifugal clutch is located outside the engine block on the crankshaft. You therefore only need to remove the side panelling if you want to service or repair this important component. However, a certain amount of force is often required to loosen the clutch nut. If it is too tight, you can use a special puller. The clutch on your Piaggio moped is an ingenious invention. Like most moped manufacturers, the Italian moped designers rely on centrifugal clutches to transfer the power of the engine from the crankshaft to the V-belt. The advantage of this type of clutch is that it works automatically. This means that the connection is made or broken depending on the engine speed.
Once you have understood the structure and functional principle of the clutch, maintenance and care will be much easier. However, you should always have helpful tools such as the clutch spring compressor or a puller in your garage for repairs. In our large range you will of course find original parts, but also high-quality reproduction parts for the clutch of your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo and Boxer moped. It is not always necessary to completely replace the entire assembly. In many cases, it is sufficient to replace the heavily used parts such as starter shoes or clutch linings at regular intervals.
Wear and tear? Defective? From the inconspicuous and small clutch spring to the new starter bell, you will find all the parts you need to repair and maintain the clutch of your Piaggio moped in our range.
