Complete Malossi MHR high-end torque converter unit including Vario for Piaggio mopeds / mopeds.
Selected high-quality materials make this torque converter and clutch set an extremely durable and hard-wearing drivetrain, which is mainly used in the high-end tuning sector.

The following parts are included in the scope of delivery:

  • Mainshaft for the gearbox with splines on the clutch mount and 11 teeth (incl. nut, bearing and oil seal). nut, bearing and oil seal)
  • Torque driver pulley system with 2 different pitches
  • Fly clutch with Ø 107 mm and double-D mount
  • Wing clutch bell with Ø 107 mm and extra cooling ribs
  • Red counter-pressure spring: with silicon alloyed steel, 45 kg
  • Malossi Multivar Variomat with 6 g weights

The input shaft for the gearbox fits the following (straight-toothed) gear ratios:

  • Malossi 8.93 / 1
  • Piaggio 12.27 / 1
  • Piaggio 12.50 / 1
  • Malossi HTQ 12.82 / 1
  • Piaggio 16.02 / 1

Note: For Ciao models, the pulleys must be turned off or the frame must be removed. In addition, as with installation on a Grillo or Bravo, a shorter belt from the scooter range must be used.
There is no longer a starter clutch. The engine must therefore be started with a pull-wire starter, side shifters can no longer be fitted.
A detailed installation manual with pictures is included.
The clutch is not compatible with standard parts of the common torque converter units.
