BGS repair set for defective or stripped internal threads.
The use of the wear-free thread inserts not only repairs the thread, but also increases the thread load-bearing capacity.
Application:
- Drill out the defective thread with the enclosed drill
- Check the tap and threaded bolt.
- Cut the holding thread with the special tap.
- Turn the thread insert into the holding thread.
- Remove the tang with the tang breaker.
For the thread sizes M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12.
